Kids 1st Darlington opened in January 2008 and is situated in the new development, West Park. The nursery has 108 places and is split into rooms depending on age group and level of development. Each room leads to an enclosed garden, where your child can get as much fresh air and exercise as desired.

In April 2009 Kids 1st Darlington was awarded an Outstanding Ofsted Report and in the summer of 2008 was awarded the Five Star Food and Hygiene Award. The nursery is situated close to the A1 which allows for trouble-free drop offs for those parents who use the motorway for work.

As an extra addition to the curriculum, children at Kids 1st Darlington participate in modern language lessons and music and movement. The children are also taken out on visits throughout the year and the nursery regularly hosts social evenings and family events.

A complimentary ‘Coffee to Go’ breakfast service is available for parents every morning.
